Ô Chateau was founded in 2004 with a simple idea: to make wine more accessible, more engaging, and less intimidating.
At a time when wine tasting in Paris was often reserved for experts, Ô Chateau pioneered a new approach: offering wine tastings in English, designed for curious minds from around the world. What started as wine tasting classes soon became something bigger.
In 2011, Ô Chateau opened one of the largest wine bars in Paris, just steps from the Louvre, bringing together a unique combination: a wine bar, a tasting venue, and a place to truly experience wine in the heart of Paris. Today, Ô Chateau is recognized as one of the leading wine destinations in Paris — a place where locals and travelers come together to drink, learn and explore wine.
With over 2,000 wines, 50 wines by the glass, and a team of passionate sommeliers, every visit is designed to be both educational and enjoyable.
