Young French sommelier Olivier Magny founded Ô Chateau in 2004. His idea was to share his passion for French wines and to have people from all over the world taste the great wines of France in Paris.

At Ô Chateau, we believe that wine can actually be fun! That it doesn't have to be stuffy.

We wanted to create a place for people who like wine, who love it, who are intrigued by it, who have no clue about it... For all people who feel some sort of an attraction to wine plus for all those whose doctors told them they should switch from beer to wine!

So we designed Ô Chateau as a place with no room for wine snobbery.

All we want is for our guests to taste beautiful wines, learn useful things and have a great time with us.

Our goal is to take the mystery out of French wine and make it more accessible to our visitors.

Our casual approach allows you to relax, enjoy excellent wines and soak up our somelliers’ expertise. You will learn fun and useful tips, from how to read French wine labels to how to slurp wine with class!
