Wine & Cheese Lunch and a Champagne Cruise on the Seine

1. We tried to think of a better way to spend the day in Paris but really couldn’t.
2. Four wines, nice artisanal cheeses and four Champagnes, carefully selected for quality will be served – always with generosity.
3. These two experiences are completely different. The wines served, the venue, what you will learn and see. Le Grand Big Day is the perfect way to drink your way through a Parisian afternoon in the most civilized of manners.

So what is Le Grand Big Day? Le Grand Big Day is a lovely way for the wine-minded traveler to spend the day in Paris.


First rendez-vous will be at  noon in our beautiful cellar near the Louvre for our “Wine and Cheese Lunch” tasting class: one Champagne, four different wines, a platter of artisanal cheeses, and an exciting class to learn more about wine in general and French wine in particular. All presented in English by a bilingual sommelier.


1.45PM: Free time, perfect for a nice stroll through the city, a shopping spree, a museum adventure or a little nap…


6PM: Second rendez-vous, on a boat, for your Champagne Cruise on the Seine River: one hour cruise on the Seine, fantastic views, and 3 Champagnes served to you in a private room at the front of the boat. Boat departs and comes back an hour later right at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.


Le Grand Big Day is a very gentle way to spend a day in Paris. We conceived it as a super easy, fun and interesting thing to do. You’re just a few clicks away from this memorable wine-themed day!!
