The story behind our wine bar is first and foremost that of a dream: we wanted to create the wine bar of our dreams, one where we’d love to spend our own evenings. Somewhere with beautiful wines, delicious food, good music, high quality decor and truly great service. A place where you could discover new wines, learn new things, but also have fun, laugh and get -let’s face it- a little drunk.

Our wine bar features: – 40 wines by the glass – 500+ by the bottle – A selection of 10+ flights (series of wine glasses) – All Riedel glassware – A selection of nibbles (cheese plates, charcuterie, foie gras, etc). – A team of bilingual and friendly sommeliers to answer any question you may have. – And also a real kitchen ran by a Cordon Bleu graduate chef if you feel like opting for one of our tasting menus.

O Chateau was the only wine bar in Paris to have received the 2012 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Other recipients include teh Plaza Athénée and Taillevent.

Our selection of wines by the glass ranges from yet under the radar wineries all the way to the very best. Ever dreamed of tasting an 1982 Bordeaux, a glass of Château d’Yquem or an unforgettable Champagne without breaking the bank? Well O Chateau is the place for that. Our wine selection is ever-changing: every Tuesday, we change the 40 wines we offer by the glass. Our food menu also changes on a weekly basis to remain constantly fresh, exciting and delicious.

O Chateau is located at 68, rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau in the 1st arrondissement – just a 5-minute walk from the Louvre. Métro Stop Louvre-Rivoli (line 1) or Etienne Marcel (line 4).
