Bastille day celebrations 2008

Everyone on the Seine for an unforgettable Bastille Day celebration! Come start the festivities on the 14th of July at the foot of the Eiffel Tower!

Let yourself embark on an unforgettable evening! We invite you to join us the 14th of July on-board one of our cruise boats where you will enjoy the spectacular evening firework display starting at the Trocadero gardens.

The event is a collaboration between O Chateau and Vedettes de Paris.

Cruise + Tasting of 4 wines plus a complimentary cocktail

On this Discover Paris Cruise (approximately 1 hour in duration), one of our sommeliers will present you with 4 wines chosen for the occasion on the outdoor deck of "le Paris Trocadéro" boat, located at the Vedettes de Paris dock just next to the Eiffel Tower.

Our sommelier will teach you all you need to know about the many varieties of French wines as you sample them. What are the differences from region to region? How is Rosé wine produced? What are the secrets of the Champagne region? Our sommelier will answer these questions and any others you may have.

You will be tasting 1red from Bourgogne, 1 Rosé from Languedoc,1 white Sancerre, and for the final touch...a Brut Champagne as the firework show begins.

An assortment of appetizers will accompany the tasting.

7.30pm: Depart from port de Suffren for the Discover Paris Cruise
8.30pm-9pm: Cruise returns and docks at port de Suffren
9pm-10.30pm: Wine Tasting (3 wines)
